Shockley is the author of the poetry collection “a half-red sea” and two chapbooks, “31 words* prose poems” and “The Gorgon Goddess.” Her work has appeared in many journals and is forthcoming in “Black Nature: Four Centuries of African American Nature Poetry.” She teaches African American literature and creative writing at Rutgers University.
Muldoon, a Pulitzer Prize-winner, is Howard G.B. Clark ’21 Professor at Princeton University and founding chair of the Lewis Center for the Arts. His most recent book of verse is “Horse Latitudes.”
